SWISS HANDPAN FESTIVAL II (English below)

Geniesst mit uns drei wunderbare Tage im Zeichen der Handpan-Kultur im Herzen des schönen Zürcher Oberlandes auf dem Gelände der legendären Kulturfabrik Wetzikon.

Das Swiss Handpan Festival ist ein internationales Wochenend-Worldmusic Festival, an dem sich Handpanbegeisterte aus der ganzen Welt treffen, um Konzerte der bekanntesten Stars der Handpanszene zu erleben, um selber zu musizieren/Jammen, voneinander zu lernen und die Begeisterung für die Handpan-Kultur zu teilen und zu verbreiten.

Das SHF beruft Musikern aus der ganzen Welt ein, die den gleichen Geist des Ausdrucks durch dieses besondere Instrument namens Handpan teilen. Eine Zusammenkunft von Klangforschern, die ihre Liebe teilen und wunderschöne Klanglandschaften schaffen wollen, die den rationalen Verstand umgehen und direkt ins Herz gehen.

NEU in 2023:

Dieses Jahr wird es einen OPEN MIC & SWISS TALENTS SIDE FLOOR geben, auf dem sich vor allem Schweizer, aber auch andere Musiker während des gesamten Festivals präsentieren. Natürlich können auch Gastmusiker auftreten, wenn es freie Auftrittsplätze gibt.

Es wird auch einen kleinen Markt mit verschiedenen Ausstellern geben, die Instrumente, Kleidung und andere Dinge am Festival anbieten.

SONNTAG: EIntritt nur 15.- CHF weil es nur freie Performances und Markbetrieb gibt, keine main Acts.

BEACHTEN: Die meisten Fragen bezüglich Unterkunft, Anreise, Workshops, Konzerte, Preise, Camping etc. werden auf unserer Homepage beantwortet.

Für die Verpflegung wird die Kulti selber mit dem genialen Poppi's Catering zuständig sein, sie sorgen während des ganzen Festivals für unsere Gaumenfreuden!

ACHTUNG: Das Festivalgelände öffnet am Freitag 30.6.2023 um 14 Uhr seine Tore, Türöffnung für die KONZERTE ist  1 Stunde vor Konzertbeginn ca. 16 Uhr.

Join us for three wonderful days of handpan culture in the heart of the beautiful Zurich Oberland on the grounds of the legendary Kulturfabrik Wetzikon.

The Swiss Handpan Festival is an international weekend world music festival where handpan enthusiasts from all over the world meet to experience concerts by the most famous stars of the handpan scene, make music/jam, learn from each other and share and spread their enthusiasm for handpan culture.

The SHF embodies a calling of musicians from all over the world who share the same spirit of expression, through this special instrument called handpan. A coming together of sound explorers who wish to share their love and create beautiful auditory landscapes that bypass the rational mind and go straight to the heart.

NEW in 2023:

This year there will be an OPEN MIC & SWISS TALENTS SIDE FLOOR, where mainly Swiss but also other musicians will present themselves throughout the festival. Of course, guest musicians can also perform if there are free performance slots.

There will also be a small market with various exhibitors offering instruments, clothing and other things at the festival.

SUNDAY: Admission only 15.- CHF because it's free performances and market only, NO main Acts.

NOTE: Most questions regarding accommodation, travel, workshops, concerts, prices, camping etc. will be answered on our homepage.

The Kulti itself will be responsible for the catering with the awesome and delicious Poppi's Catering, they will take care of our culinary delights during the whole festival!

ATTENTION: The festival site will open its doors on Friday 30.6.2023 at 2 pm, door opening for the CONCERTS is 1 hour before the concert starts at approx. 4 pm.
